We took off today for parts unknown to Ricardo and I. We had heard about Altamura bread but that’s about it. And didn’t know anything about Matera. What a surprising day we had in store for us! Altamura When we reached the town, we went straight to the bread oven to learn about Altamura bread and

All weather reports predicted a rain storm today, but we all took our positive attitudes to the beach so we could enjoy one more day.  Antimo conducted an impromptu exercise class with breathing, stretching, a little yoga, a few movements with weights and resistance bands, and voila! It wasn’t as if we didn’t need it

We’re off to Ostuni today. I remember a few years ago when we were taking the train from Bari to Brindisi – Antimo told us once we saw the “white” city of Ostuni to get our luggage together because the next stop would be ours. It was a good thing he warned us because

A day at the sea – Porto Cesareo Antimo showed up at our house this morning with breakfast for a king, well maybe for a prince. Ricardo only thinks he’s king – ha ha. The cornettos were as large as the plate and so fresh. Fruit, yogurt, a special breakfast biscotti – I love it!

The Lamborghini factory tour was beyond awesome and I don’t usually care how cars are made! Unfortunately, they don’t allow pictures in the factory so I can only try to describe what we saw. When we entered the gates, we were greeted by a gentleman in a very nice black suit. Like how many car

The agenda for today was to visit Modena, the Lamborghini factory, and watch the making of special pizza at the Maggi (where we are staying). Modena is a very important town (we hear this a lot from each city we visit – I think there is still a little competition between these cities). I liked

Rut Rhroo. I woke up this morning without a voice. At first, Ricardo was thrilled since I wouldn’t be able to talk much (LOL), then he realized what this meant, the cold had really taken root. Yeah, it wasn’t good.  So a complaint – mostly because I don’t feel good – but really, doesn’t anyone
