Take Five Italian Minutes (Cinque Minuti) For Five Favorites

October, one of my favorite months of the year. Why? Because I love Fall AND it’s my birthday month. I’m feeling particularly generous this year and giving away five copies of my cookbook, “From Vine to Table: The Unexpected Joy of Zucchini’s Magic” in kindle format to the first five people who respond to my newsletter and request a copy.

In order to qualify, you have to reply to the newsletter email. If you are not a regular newsletter subscriber, click on the box to the right of this post and enter your name, email address, and hit “subscribe.” The most current newsletter will be emailed to you.

To win a copy of the kindle version of the cookbook for current and new subscribers: all you have to do is reply to that newsletter email and request to be entered in the cookbook giveaway. The first five requests received will win!

The newsletter goes out once a week with two new recipes and interesting foodie facts. If you subscribe to the newsletter, you will not be inundated with emails and/or advertising I promise!

And happy birthday to everyone born in October!

Magic slicer – This looks like a cool slicer that is multi-functional and takes the place of a full-sized mandolin. It slices, shreds, and works as a strainer. MAGIC SLICER

Butter melting jars – I’m always melting butter in the microwave and have to clean up the mess afterward more often than not. These melting jars seem like they would eliminate unnecessary mess and melt butter or other items that needed heating up perfectly. BUTTER MELTING JARS.

Coffee/Tea stain remedy – Starting your day with coffee or tea can be the only thing that gets you through the day. Spoiling a piece of clothing because you’re not quite awake or if you’ve spilled this beverage on your favorite table cloth, this hack might be the answer. COFFEE STAIN REMEDY

Wine stains – While we’re on the subject of stain remedies, ever have the challenge of getting wine stains out of clothes? While you may have enjoyed that bottle of wine, I’m sure you don’t want to wear the stains like a badge of distinction the next day. Try this.  WINE STAIN REMEDY

Beef package labeling. Reading labels on beef packages can be confusing. This article helps you understand what you are getting when you purchase a package of meat at the grocery store. You may be surprised at what you do and don’t know. BEEF PACKAGE LABELING

Enjoy October and good luck if you are entering the free cookbook drawing!
