Chocolate Hazelnut Bites


  • 3/4 cups Nutella
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup buckwheat flour
  • Finishing salt to sprinkle on top optional


  1. PREP: Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 4 X 4" square baking dish with parchment overhanging on two sides (easier to get bites out of the dish after cooked).
  2. Mix Nutella and egg together until smooth. Add the flour and continue mixing until smooth.
  3. Spread mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with salt if using.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes or until puffy, and crackly. Insert a cake tester to check - it should come out clean. Cut into 1-2" pieces. Makes about 20 bites.
